About the Artist

Jeffery Corns, the owner of Jeffery's began his career as a professional photographer in 1984. His passion led him to open his first studio in 1989. The Southgate Studio was only 800 sq. ft. but was enough space for Jeff to land clients like: BASF, Ford Motor Company, Arthur Andersen and JCPenney to name a few. By 1995 Jeff had outgrown the Southgate location and purchased a 1900 sq. ft. studio in Wyandotte. Business grew yet larger and to start the new millennium Jeff began construction on his present 4000 sq. ft. studio and three-quarter acre portrait park. Today Jeffery's is the areas largest studio and offers an unparalleled outdoor facility.

Jeff is a Master Photographer and a Certified Professional Photographer. Jeff was twice named Commercial Photographer of the Year by the Professional Photographers of Michigan. In 1995 Jeff was named Photographer of the Year by the Professional Photographers of Detroit. His work has received both Kodak Gallery Awards and Fuji Masterpiece Awards.
